May 29th, 1993 marked a day that would be so heartfelt for the rest of my life. I can remember the day as if it were yesterday. I come from a VERY close nit family. We did everything from fish fries at the lake to bailing hay in the summer together.
On May 27th, 1993 my Grandpa was taken by ambulance to the hospital for CHF and shortness of breath. On May 29th, 1993 his words were " Pumpkin, I'll see you at the next visiting hour". He had been in ICU. 3 hours later, he was gone. He was 63 yrs. old.
I miss you Pa!
I can still hear your voice. I can still see your smile.

I don't even know where to begin!
Update on our move. We WANTED to move SO badly by years end. However, we've sat and figured it out that we are best to stay put and let Matt finish his master's. On that note I'm sad, but I know that it's set in stone, but there is a precious thing involved and that is time. So come this time next year; he will be done and we will be done with CO outside of visits and gatherings. As we will do our damnest to do EVERY summer....
On a different note: In the wee hours on Wednesday May 4th; we received a call from Matt's mother, informing us that a dear and close family friend had passed away. I will not get into details, as for one it's no ones business, on the other hand, it's still hard to talk about. He was a great person, who taught me so much about computers. I was about to get into programming with him this summer as time permitted, however that will have to wait until I meet up with him again, later on in the years. He was a man whom held so much knowledge, that will greatly be missed. There are NO words to express how I feel at this moment. As I'm still in shock and grieving for a lost sole.
Right now I'm being there for the family in any way I possibly can be and far beyond after the memorial service(s) and for as long as they need us. The family of our friend worked for my father-in-law for damn near 20 years. They were like family outside of work. I Love you all so much! Hang in there... We will get through this TOGETHER!
Forever Love,
Jenn

Our move coming up within this century
Though I seem upset about people knowing that shouldn't know UNTIL the time is here, I'm actually laughing and grinning inside and out. However, I'm sad too. I will miss the people who helped me learn how to breath again, taught me how to be myself again and NOT be ashamed of it. I can say one thing is certain, I will not veer from that ever again! These people around me have taught me how to be strong at my weakest moment, taught me there is more to life, than what meets the eye. I will never be able to truly tell them what they have meant to me through so much. When the time comes I will note who those people are. There is 5 very special people. Now is not the time though.
On a different note: The girls are doing much better. Em was able to return to school today and was she ever happy about that. So was momma! lol Love you baby girl! Abi, still has a little ear pain here and there, but not waking up in the night screaming! So I think all is well on that front.
I want to give a shout out to my husband who has endured just as much as I have through the last 3 years. We both know it could be SOOO much worse, but when it deals with all emotions, it sucks... regardless! He's an amazing man who has done so much and gave so much, that only a few who really CARE, have even noticed.. I Love You Babe! It will be 9 years come July 19th... WOW! and some thought we'd never make it haha.... Now I think it's known without a doubt!
The chance for storms this weekend. I wish everyone out there: Happiness, safe, fun, and thrilling adventures. I have one request and that is to not be stupid, play it safe, it's worth it. Matt and I will hopefully catch you out there soon.
Think I will end it here on a very positive feeling.
Love, Peace, Chicken Grease!

The everyday challenges...a rant from within....
Lately, I sit here wondering how much longer I can really take being unhappy. I have amazing friends near and far. Friends that have helped me out through some really trying times. To sit in a grind though of every day life, with unhappy people around you or looking down upon you, it's tough to not think negative.
I look around and see grandparents with their grandchildren and it brings back SO many wonderful/fond memories with my grandparents. My cousins and I out riding horses on summer days or on the weekends. I see parents with their children and brings back wonderful childhood memories of Me with my parents. When I'm told you don't know how to be a Grandma or Grandpa or Mother/Father. Really? Does that person even try or is it an excuse to not have to "bother". No we are not handed with operator manual when we have a child or grandchild, but the effort speaks louder than words. It's not about material items, it's about LOVE. Something I think many can not even begin to understand.
I talked to Matt last night and we both reminded each other it's about the small things in life and things that make you smile or laugh. It's all about the little things!
Peace, Love, Chicken Grease!

How Stormycowgirl came about...
Growing up. I was HUGE into horses and still am to this day. I went riding a few times last year and had a blast... reminded me of exactly who I am and who I was growing up. Once I got into chasing ( storms ), I found another interest in life. Over the years, the two words came together to form Stormycowgirl. I'm a cowgirl who would someday LOVE to own a horse ranch, but I still LOVE to chase storms as well.

My girls, I LOVE them so much!!!
So, Today I took my girls to the doctor. Em has a horrible sinus infection. While Abi has a bad sinus infection w/ double ear infection. They both ate decently and took their Abtibiotics and are sleeping tight now.
On that note. I'm off here for a bit to get this thing setup and learn it.
Peace, Love and Chicken Grease!

My Thoughts starting today....
With a bit of peace and after talking to a few friends, I've decided to start this blog up. I will say RIGHT now, I won't hold back, I don't sugar coat shit. If you don't like what you read, please leave. I'm here to get off my chest things that bother me, or happy experiences and thoughts. I'm not the best well spoken or written person. I just say what is on my mind and I'm done.
I'm not here to please anyone but myself and perhaps the people I choose to please. I'm not perfect, I make mistakes everyday. I love learning! I don't expect anyone else to be perfect. But don't look down on my faults when you have the same faults. I DO NOT like HYPOCRITS! If you are one, leave... if not.. well I'm sure I can learn something!
Again it will be a roller coaster at times, but this is my place to vent.
Peace, Love, Chicken Grease!
